Our SEED daycare is staffed by qualified daycare educators who ensure the children’s safety and well-being. The students are introduced to activities that incorporate fair play, foster friendships and nurture development growth. The afternoon portion begins with a homework period followed by a variety of activities that include cooking, arts and craft, science, structured games and physical activity. Healthy snacks and drinks are provided for the students on a daily basis. In the morning before school, the students have an opportunity to eat in our Breakfast Club and enjoy low impact sports and games to jump start their day.
SEED daycare fees are determined by the MEES and are subject to change at their discretion– please consult payment calendar for monthly fees. Cash, Interac and online payments are acceptable forms of payment.
Occasional users: $2.54 is charged per student per day for the lunch program. Occasional use for daycare is not permitted unless they are registered in daycare at the beginning of the school year.
If your child requires medication during lunch or daycare hours, please be sure to ask for, and complete the appropriate form. These forms can be found at the main office. The medication must be in its original container.
Fees are determined by the MEES and are subject to change at their discretion. These fees are not included in the monthly daycare fees, and are to be paid separately. Activity fees may apply. Once your child has been registered we cannot give refunds if your child does not attend.
Parents using the SEED daycare service must sign their child out at the end of each day before leaving the building. Please enter and exit via the daycare door located at the far end of the school
All students registered in the after school SEED daycare program must be picked up and signed out by an adult; for security reasons, daycare students cannot be picked up at the gate or take the bus home.
Home teaching may also be available in a hospital setting.
Late fees apply as of 6:01 p.m. based on the clock in the gym. The charge is 15$ per 15 minutes block
