Youth Programs

Secondary school offers five years of general education, divided into two cycles. Cycle One, which lasts two years, enables students to consolidate the learning acquired in elementary school and to begin to think about their career options. Cycle Two consists of the last three years of secondary education. After a successful conclusion of the fifth year of secondary education, students are awarded a Secondary School Diploma (SSD) that provides access to college, but does not lead directly to university.

The Work Oriented Training Path (WOTP) is different from other Cycle Two programs. It is practical in nature and strongly focused on an immediate preparation for the job market. It is intended for students who, for any kind of reasons, are having difficulties in school. The WOTP program gives students who fit the profile an opportunity to succeed in different contexts through adapted instruction.
