Service as Action

Contributing to a community through service as action is an important step to becoming a responsible local and global citizen. This is why students in the IBMYP are required to complete a minimum number of service hours annually.

Hours must be completed outside of the school timetable.

The Community & Service Coordinator works with students to help them find opportunities to complete their service. They also distribute the Community & Service booklet that each student is required to have in order to document their service hours and to be able to reflect on the impact of their work and what they have learned by completing it.
