Welcome to the Lester B. Pearson School Board (LBPSB), one of the largest and most successful English school boards in Quebec. LBPSB covers a vast territory spanning Montreal’s West Island, extending to off-island and South-West regions, encompassing the richness of the city’s landscapes and the diversity of its people.
LBPSB successfully implements its educational mission to over 25,000 students across 36 elementary schools, 10 high schools, and 8 adult/vocational centres. We offer an array of programs and courses in the Youth and Vocational sectors, capturing a variety of core competencies and learning outcomes.
We continue to have one of the highest secondary school graduation rates in Quebec public schools. Our commitment to student success is guided by 3 core values: Achievement, Wellness, and Engagement; reflected in a teaching philosophy that is student-focused, innovative and adapted to the 21st century classroom. Moreover, our dedication to Equity, Diversity, Dignity and Inclusion serves to improve the learning and social experiences for the students and communities we serve.
