The Birchwood Home & School Association is a volunteer, non-profit organization made up of parents, grandparents and educators from our school community, all working together to enrich our students’ school life. The H&S is an avenue for members to become actively involved, offering an opportunity to learn about the school community in which our children spend approximately one-third of their time. All community members are encouraged to participate in ways that most suit their own availability. Becoming a member does not mean becoming a Volunteer. For an annual membership, you may be an active member, able to volunteer often or occasionally participate, or a non-active member simply as a supporting member of your Home and School. We need all! Everyone is welcome to our monthly meetings where we share ideas and bring new ones to the table. We work jointly with the school to ensure open communication and a closer relationship between the school and parents while enhancing school spirit.
